Job duties ( Production Engineer jobs in Bangalore ) :
The Production Engineer will be taking up the below responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating in production engineering process on daily basis
- Process failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Process Planning
- Quality tools
- New Product Process development
- Project co ordination
- Down time calculation
- Direct and indirect hours calculations
- Environment health and safety management
- Continuous improvement
- Quality and cost consciousness
- Performing engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
- Evaluating the production activities and implementing the scope of improvements.
- Material management on batch and rack system using 5s rule.
- Maintaining updated data base input with multiple source by validating drawing/spec.
- Ensure correctness and completeness of the amount asset information for all projects.
- Managing overall operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of production targets as committed.
- Reviewing of capacity (Man power and Machineries) against the forecasted budget to meet the customer demand on time.
- Planning of workforce based on the requirements.
- Ensuring operations are performing in line with Quality requirements derived by customer
- Regular monitoring on machine utilization and yield arrived at different work stations to increase the productivity and reduce rejections
- Ensuring Process Parameters & work standards are met
- Maintaining Line Balancing during production on shop floor.
Key preferred skills:
- Good knowledge on Production Engineering
- Good team player
- Good knowledge of Internet, Email and MS Office
Qualification:
- Preferred qualification: BE (Mechanical)
Work experience:
- 5 years of experience in Production engineering in a Mechanical industry
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Rs. 26000 to Rs. 35000/- per month
Age: 25 to 40 years
